Jack Faiola

Goalkeeper | #32 | Hobart College Lacrosse ’27 | Canandaigua Lacrosse ‘23

Jackson Faiola brings dedication, resilience, and a strong work ethic to his role as goalkeeper for Hobart College's lacrosse program. A native of Canandaigua, New York, Jackson has developed into a reliable presence between the pipes through consistent effort and commitment to improvement. His collegiate journey was shaped by a productive high school career at Canandaigua Academy, where he was fortunate to earn USA Lacrosse All-American recognition and contribute to his team's success. At Hobart, Jackson has earned the opportunity to serve as the team's primary starting goalkeeper, contributing over 665 minutes in the 2025 season with 154 career saves, including notable performances such as a 16-save effort for a win against UMass and 2 stops in the last minute of play to preserve a lead in a win against Bucknell.

Beyond his athletic commitments, Jackson is focused on his studies as a Management and Entrepreneurial Studies major at Hobart, working to balance the demands of Division I athletics with academic responsibilities. He also gives back to the lacrosse community as a coach with Heat Lacrosse, where he works with the 2028 boys' lacrosse team. In this role, Jackson focuses on helping young athletes develop both on and off the field, running structured practices that build fundamental skills like stick work and game sense while encouraging teamwork and leadership. His coaching philosophy centers on keeping the game enjoyable while helping each player improve, gain confidence, and learn valuable life lessons through lacrosse. Jackson's approach to challenges, whether in difficult games, demanding coursework, or mentoring young players, reflects a quiet determination and team-oriented mindset. He appreciates the support of his coaches and teammates, and his Canandaigua background has helped instill values of hard work and community that guide his approach in lacrosse, academics, and coaching. He remains committed to continuous improvement and contributing positively to his team's efforts on and off the field.
